Owners & Instructors

Dan, our lead instructor, hails from the rugged wilderness of Wyoming. His upbringing involved hunting, fishing, farming, horseback riding, and cattle ranching. Following high school, Dan served five years in the United States Marine Corps as a Rifleman and Designated Marksman, where he honed skills in first aid, survival, and disaster preparedness. His enduring passion for the outdoors led him to pursue a career in geology. Dan remains committed to continuous learning and growth in survival skills.

Bri, Dan's wife, complements our team with her love for the outdoors and her profession as a full-time elementary school teacher. Raised in rural Washington State, Bri brings a calm and professional demeanor to Summit View Survival & Preparedness, fostering a safe and effective learning environment.
